Department of Hydrobiology

The Department of Hydrobiology was established in 1982 with the Department of Biology. Established period from this day until our department recognized with national and international scientific studies on the squad, has done pioneering research in the field and has contributed to the scientific world and carried out research and studies on aquatic ecosystems in Turkey. In the department, 36 master's and 11 doctoral thesis studies have been completed to date. There are 2 professors, 1 doctor and 1 research assistant in our department. There are 3 research laboratories within our department. These laboratories, in which graduate students as well as graduate students have the opportunity to participate in the research, serve to train future scientists in this way. In addition, department staff can provide consultancy services that will come through revolving funds upon request.
