Farabi Student Exchange Program
Minimum requirements for applying to the Farabi Exchange Program:
1. Being an Associate, Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate student in higher education programs that give formal education. Associate and Undergraduate students must have completed their first year (first two semesters), and MS and Ph.D. students must have completed their half-year (first semester). Apart from this, applications cannot be made during preparatory or scientific preparation periods.
2. The GPA must be at least 2.00 / 4.00 for Associate and Undergraduate students, and 2.50 / 4.00 for MSc and Ph.D. students.

3- The document shows the level of the foreign language (If the courses at the Higher Education Institution are partially or wholly in a foreign language).
If the language of education of the higher education institution is Turkish, in the evaluation phase, the grade point average of the students whose application is valid, is taken into account, and selection is done by sorting the grade point averages for each program. If the higher education institution is fully or partially taught in a foreign language; the sum is calculated by 50% of the grade point average, and 50% of the foreign language score (indicating the level of the foreign language). Selection is made by sorting the weighted grade point average of students for each program.
After the Selection:
1) Student Application Form: It will be filled in and signed by the student electronically and delivered to the International Relations Office.
2) Education Protocol: It is the protocol signed between the higher education institutions that carry out the exchange. It includes a syllabus that defined before the beginning of the exchange period and the credits related to these courses. In this protocol, the courses to be taken by the relevant student in the institution and their credits are clearly stated. The student declares with a signature that he/she approves the courses and will follow these courses.The sending higher education institution guarantees that the courses taken with this protocol are accepted. The Education Protocol also specifies the substitute courses and credits. The board approves the equivalence of the courses of the relevant academic unit.
3) Information Form: It should be filled in electronically and sent to the address "farabi@ogu.edu.tr" by the student.
4) Student Obligation Agreement: It is a contract signed between the institution of higher education and the student who performs the exchange. It includes the duration of the exchange, scholarship fee, other payments, and the responsibilities of the student in case of failure to fulfill his obligations, etc.
5) Student Declaration: It includes the rights and obligations of the student during the Farabi Exchange Program.
6) Certificate of Attendance: After signing of the Education Protocol, the higher education institution prepares an approved and signed Farabi Exchange Program Student Acceptance Certificate indicating that the relevant student is accepted as a Farabi Exchange Program student, to be given to the other higher education institution and to the student.
7) Student Scholarship: Students who earns Farabi Exchange Program Student with a scholarship, and undergraduate students, are paid scholarships for one and a half times the monthly scholarship amount paid according to Law No. 5102 on Scholarship for Higher Education Students. 70% of the scholarship is paid to the student in pensions. While determining the total of the remaining scholarship amount, the realization period, and the student's success, which is in the Participation Certificate given to the student, are taken into consideration.
Documents to be submitted at the End of Education:
1) Certificate of Attendance: It is a signed and sealed document that is prepared by the higher education institution where the education and training activities are carried out. It confirms the beginning and end period of education. The scholarships of students are calculated by taking the dates specified in this document into consideration.
2) Student Final Report: When the exchange period is completed, it is the document containing summary information about the student's activity and the student's evaluations.
