General Explanation
Your researches carried out within the scope of Biology Analysis courses are shared with our University Faculty Members, students and external stakeholders through the poster exhibition.
This event includes the students of the Department of Biology:
• Motivating research
• Creating a ground for them to improve their vision
• Accelerate their development in communication and scientific presentation
• To develop university-industry cooperation by introducing the researches to the sector.
It has been carried out since 2011-2012 academic year.
Presentation principles of the researches carried out within the scope of Biology Analysis courses can be summarized as follows:
1. Regardless of the number of researchers carrying out the research, each research will be displayed with a poster.
2. The posters can be prepared in the desired format and font, provided that the following general rules are followed,
Posters should be prepared in a size of 80 x 100 cm and to be read vertically.
- Each poster should include the title of the study, researcher (s) and institution name. The name of the Consultant Faculty Member should not be indicated on the posters.
- The size of the texts on the poster should be chosen to be readable from at least 1 meter away.
- Only plain text designs should be avoided.
- Each poster should be posted on the board of which the number has been determined.
3. The preparation and presentation of the posters are entirely the responsibility of the researchers. The Consultant Faculty Member will only contribute to correct possible scientific errors.
4. The researcher student (s) should be at the beginning of their posters at the hours specified in the program, and should provide information to the participants who want an explanation about their subject.
